During this Silent Retreat, we will be exploring and practicing the foundational teachings of Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR) including Mindful Movement in a 6 night silent residential retreat format.
Retreat practice is a vital way to nourish our personal meditation practice, which is life enhancing for everyone, and particularly important for those who work with mindfulness-based interventions.
The Retreat is an opportunity to renew and deepen your practice of Mindfulness meditation and living fully in each moment in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The Retreat also meets the CPD requirements of the UK Best Practice for MBSR Teachers and is appropriate for anyone on the MBSR teacher training pathway, as well as active Mindfulness Teachers.
Retreat details and Schedule -
The Retreat will emphazie quieting the mind, opening the heart, and developing clarity and depth of practice within a supportive community. We will be engaging in times of guided silent practice - sitting and walking meditations with sessions of Mindful Movement, combined with a spirit of loving-kindness.
This will be interwoven with time during the afternoon/eveninges when the teachers will offer a question and answer session.
We will also facilitate sharing circles, where you will have the opportunity to connect with others who are committed to mindfulness in their personal and professional lives, so that we can draw support, inspiration and encouragement from each other. Individual meetings will also be available, enabling you to check in with the teacher, discuss your practice and ask any questions you may have..
We will also be practicing silence during meals and informal periods.

14.00 lunch followed by free time to rest and take walks in the countryside
