Chandrah Nusselein
I am a Mindful Academy Solterreno Teacher-in-Training, having completed TT1 and TT2, and
I am deeply inspired by the teachings of Jon Kabat-Zinn and Thich Nhat Hanh. With a
background in psychology, pedagogical sciences, and years of experience as a development
professional, I am passionate about nurturing compassion, mindful awareness, and well-
being in communities and especially among young people.
Mindfulness and yoga are integral parts of my life, constantly inviting me to pause, return to
the present moment, and meet my experience with patience and kindness. My MBSR
journey continues to teach me how to meet life’s moments with curiosity and openness,
and I feel called to share these practices in ways that support others in reconnecting with
themselves and the world around them.
Nature remains one of my greatest teachers. I find grounding and joy in running, swimming,
walking, trekking, and the contemplative art of Ikebana. As I continue my path toward
becoming an MBSR teacher, I hope to guide with authenticity, humility, and a heartfelt
commitment to cultivating compassion and mindful living.
