< My journey of Mindfulness >
When I was introduced to the concept of Mindfulness in 2009, I attended the
8-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program (MBSR), which gave me valuable insight into my own ‘patterns’ and ‘autopilot’. As an ambitious mother, I was struggling, like many of us, to keep all the balls in the air. My mind prevented me from finding the right work-life balance. As a result, I found myself striving and judging all the time.
As practising Mindfulness became more and more important to me, I decided to follow the teacher training in 2017. From the first day, I arrived at Mindful Academy Solterreno, I soon felt it was the right decision.
While staying in the peaceful countryside in the South East of Spain, I had the opportunity to learn from the inside out. Looking at myself as a very privileged person and being very thankful to have been taught by Bodhin Woodward, who made the experience so much vivid, safe, comprehensive and connected. During the last 18 months, I managed to cultivate, embody and breathe ‘Mindfulness’. For me, it is a journey in which I have learned so much, both professionally and personally. And the journey does not end. In fact, it has just started, and it will continue, as a way of living.
I’m very proud to announce that after 200 hours intensive practice I’m a certified & qualified Mindfulness MBSR teacher. And I would love to ‘treat’ others to experience the awareness of acknowledging the magic moments in life, the pleasant and the unpleasant. It’s the full Catastrophe.
