Emma Ullvin

Emma Ullvin is a qualified MBSR Mindfulness teacher with Mindful Academy Solterreno.

Emma initially found mindfulness as a tool to manage stress and a busy life, but after having seen benefits in every area of her life she came to view mindfulness as a foundational skill and practice. These are the roots, from which we can grow a little more stable and resilient to weather the winds of the challenges that life may bring, as well as a gateway to experience more joy, meaning, and equanimity.

After intense academic studies at Bowdoin College, Emma worked as Marketing Manager for an AI start-up (Expertmaker, now eBay) and eventually transitioned to run her own mindfulness business where she feels fulfilled guiding people on their journey to a more mindful and meaningful life. She is multilingual and although originally from Sweden, she has moved around throughout her life and is now based in Amsterdam, NL.

Emma works both with individual groups and companies and offers her services in-person as well as online.

Testimonials

Overall feedback

Great. My intention was to deepen my own practice as well as to take initial steps in learning how to pass on the possibility of the gift of mindfulness to others, and both of those intentions were met.

As always it was extremely well organised and I felt very held and taken care of. I always felt supported and even though I had taken the 'same' retreat in person last year I gained more insights and really felt like my practice was deepened.
Of course I missed the beautiful Solterreno but…
