Yasemin Paçacı
Yasemin Paçacı is a senior Ph.D. candidate in the Management and Strategy Program at Koç University, where she works as a Teaching and Research Assistant as well as a Part-time Lecturer. She also holds the role of Project Manager (Research & Practice) within the Leadership Lab, an initiative established by Prof. Dr. Zeynep Aycan. Yasemin's research areas include leadership, change management, and well-being in the workplace, with a specific interest in mindfulness.
In pursuit of her passion for mindfulness, Yasemin completed her mindfulness teacher training at Mindful Academy Solterreno, subsequently becoming a certified mindfulness instructor. Her academic career is marked by dedicated research on this subject, with her doctoral dissertation titled "Be mindful of the mindfulness interventions! Does mindfulness increase leader moral action through unveiling organizational politics?"
Her commitment to preserving the integrity of mindfulness, free from biases and misconceptions, fuels her mission of encouraging experiential engagement. In pursuit of this mission, she conducts various training and workshops, catering to employees, corporate managers, university students, and the general audience, offering sessions in both English and Turkish. She also authored an article titled "Mindfulness is not What You Think!" in Harvard Business Review Turkey (click here for English content).
