Certified MBSR Teacher & Mindful Outdoor Guide
After a 25-year career in mega-events, I experienced a workplace burnout in 2018. Having dabbled in meditation over the years prior to that, namely in the Vipassana tradition, I found myself returning to mindfulness meditation as the foundation for my recovery.
Originally from Australia, I’ve lived in 9 countries around the world but am now based in Switzerland. It is from here that I deliver the secular 8-Week Mindfulness Based Stress-Reduction (MBSR) programme (in English) as both a group and 1:1 online training course.
My personal practice continues to deepen as I teach, and I’ve since also become certified in Mindful Outdoor Guiding; regularly delivering mindful outdoor experiences in the forests close to Lausanne.
I’m also a Resilience Coach and Mental Fitness practitioner and regularly infuse my coaching and mental fitness programmes with aspects of mindfulness and meditation.
The MBSR programme has been invaluable to me in terms of my own personal development and growth since burnout. The programme has always represented far more to me than a set of tools for stress reduction. Rather, it provides access to a much broader perspective on life and cultivates intentional presence which has markedly improved the quality of my work, life, and relationships.
