I took Level 1 in Solterreno last May and I am so glad I did. The description on the website is in line with the actual course and it gives you a concrete overall idea of the MBSR program.
We went through both the content of each of the 8 MBSR sessions and to the competences to work on to become an MBSR instructor. We spent a significant part of the time guiding meditations to gain confidence and to get feedback (which were always useful and convey in a constructive manner).
This course is very practically oriented and thus, could allow you to teach soon. The main professor, Bodhin is an example of living mindfully and has also the key competencies to transmit these teachings. Attending TT1 allowed me to translate my desire to teach mindfulness into concrete actions.
I came back from Solterreno feeling lighter and with plenty of ideas that I am putting in place to become an MBSR instructor. I can’t wait to take Level 2!
